Heather Estrada is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and advocate whose work explores identity, healing, and human connection through bold visual storytelling. As the founder of Lettuce Be Good Studios, she combines over a decade of experience in creative direction, fabrication, and community building with a deeply personal commitment to elevating marginalized voices.
Heather is the visionary behind Transcendence: Unmasked with Purpose, a large-scale art installation and documentary project that honors the resilience of transgender individuals and their allies. Her work is rooted in empathy and guided by the belief that truth should be seen — not silenced.
A disabled veteran and passionate mental health advocate, Heather draws on her own lived experience with trauma to create spaces for vulnerability, expression, and transformation. Whether through sculpture, mixed media, or storytelling, her mission is clear: to create art that unites, uplifts, and inspires change.
Matthew Bender
Matthew is a Dallas seasoned photographer and videographer with over a decade of experience in the field. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills by delving into diverse projects, ranging from creative concepts to commercial ventures. Passionate about the art of cinematography, Matthew finds inspiration in films of various genres, including comedy, action, and horror. His fascination with the behind-the-scenes process led him to explore bonus features and commentaries on DVDs, where he eagerly absorbed insights into the directors' and Director of Photography's techniques for capturing and composing captivating visuals. Now, Matthew aspires to establish his own unique voice in the industry, bringing his visual concepts to life and assisting others in realizing their creative visions.
